Dr. Rahman is a compassionate veterinarian with more than 12 years of experience in veterinary medicine. Dr. Rahman graduated with his DVM from Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Bangladesh, in 2007. After completing a professional internship, he moved to the U.S. and obtained his ECFVG certification through the American Veterinary Medical Association and Mississippi State University.

After working several years in emergency and general practice in the Seattle, WA, and DFW Metro areas, Dr. Rahman decided to open PetNest Animal Hospital in 2021. He aspires to provide his clients and the community with a place they can trust to get quality care for their furry friends. He is committed to practicing evidence-based medicine and strongly believes in quality care for pets and in being available to his patients when needed.

Dr. Rahman’s professional interests include Soft Tissue Surgeries, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology, Dentistry, Chronic Disease Management, Preventive Care, and Shelter Medicine. He keeps himself versed with the latest diagnostics and therapies through continuing education.
Dr. Rahman is a member of the AVMA and TVMA. He lives with his family along with two cats and pet cockatiels. When not working, Dr. Rahman spends time with his family and enjoys traveling, landscape photography, and reading.
