that Require Urgent and Emergency Care

As a pet parent, it is not always easy to determine whether your dog or cat needs urgent care. If you have any reason to suspect that your pet may be suffering from a serious injury or illness, we encourage you to contact us right away for assistance. In addition, certain situations always require immediate attention:
- Eye injuries
- Bite wounds
- Trauma sustained in car accidents
- Lacerations
- Severe and sudden onset of pain
- Allergic reactions
- Facial swelling
- Broken bones
- Limping
- Broken toenail
- Difficulty giving birth
- Ingestion of toxins or foreign objects
- High fever
- Heatstroke
- Seizures or other neurological signs
- Vomiting or diarrhea, especially if bloody
- Straining to urinate, bloody urine, urinating inside the house or outside the litter box, dribbling urine
- Swollen or painful testicles
- Vaginal discharge
